Tips & Tricks (Chrome OS)

Your first experience powering up a Chrome OS device is Tips & Tricks, a hosted Mod application with a custom loader. The application was designed and built in four and a half months.

The topics are presented using the Mod Flow component, which places arbitrary components along a custom 3D Bézier path. Selecting a topic reveals more information in a lightbox-style interface while providing linear navigation cues on the sides. The Flow component also uses a frustum culling algorithm, which ensures that components hidden from view are not rendered, thus improving the application's initial load and runtime performance.

Note: The mobile- and tablet-optimized sample apps are supported in Mobile Safari on iOS 5.1 or later and Chrome for Android 4.0 or later. Paparazzi currently is supported only in Google Chrome. Temp Converter works best in Safari 6 or later and Chrome 25 or later. All other applications work best in the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and IE 10.
